This work seeks to evaluate in a descriptive and exploratory way the impact of the use of three-dimensional maps in information and opinion gathering situations about what happens in a territory, as well as exchange of knowledge to verify or teach the use of basic concepts, geography or natural science, used in environmental education.
To this end we use quantitative and qualitative analysis tools. This work also includes a proposal to build these maps with a minimum of technological resources and previous knowledge. The maps we propose only represent the relief, based on cartography with contours, and utilize a minimum of conventions to facilitate their reading and use. The use of these maps by blind people is considered as an option to include them in the study and knowledge of their environment. Considering the use of three-dimensional maps, as a tool for dialogue and information gathering in environmental investigations, we wonder if they affect the results and how they affect them. Its impact is evaluated in two locations in which surveys on the perception of ecosystem services are conducted. In addition, the results of two workshops conducted with third and sixth semester students of Social Sciences at the University of the Amazon in Florencia, Caquetá, are presented
