Arqueografía una herramienta para la arqueología preventiva en el proceso de la planeación territorial

In Colombia, one of the origins associated with cultural detachment is given by the disarticulation between the archaeological management of the responsible entities and the territorial tools. This can be argued in the insufficiency of instruments, be they of a technical or scientific nature that allow both communities and professionals to generate a form of recognition, interpretation and analysis of the territories. That is why, based on this research and using geographic knowledge, a tool is generated that not only directs the process of spatialization of archaeological phenomena but also identifies with certainty the areas with the greatest archaeological probability.
In this way, a methodology based on the basic foundations of archeology was implemented, analyzing on one hand the historical and cultural context and on the other, the geographical context of the study area. From there originates an archeography, considered as the thematic cartography that spatially evidence archaeological variables. This is the starting point for a zoning, a tool that would solve the absence of those territorial instruments.
The means to include this tool in the planning of the territory is the preventive archeology that "aims to improve knowledge about the distribution of the various types of archaeological sites in order to avoid damaging effects of construction works and enable the protection of information and the conservation of cultural assets "(ICANH, 2010). The intervention of preventive archeology is essential to devise guidelines attached to protection regulations and improve the most effective knowledge of the distribution of deposits
