Cuantificación del riesgo por contagio de Sars- Cov-2 para el personal docente en la Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas y Ambientales U.D.C.A. sede Bogotá

Abstract

El síndrome respiratorio agudo grave (SARS, por sus siglas en inglés) es una enfermedad respiratoria viral causada por un coronavirus, asociado al SARS (SARS-Cov-2). La emergencia sanitaria por la pandemia de COVID-19, ha provocado una crisis sin precedentes en el ámbito económico, social cultural, salud. En el tema de la educación, esta emergencia ha generado un cierre de las 296 universidades que tiene el país en su forma de atención presencial, la necesidad de desarrollar toda una temática académica de manera virtual. Con el fin de evitar la propagación del virus y mitigar su impacto tanto en estudiantes como en docentes, adicional al núcleo familiar que los rodea, la comunidad educativa ha debido responder a una serie de demandas emergentes de diverso orden durante la crisis sanitaria, para poder minimizar su impacto hacia los estudiantes. Con la implementación del plan de vacunación nacional se ha tratado de mitigar el nivel de contagio del virus y con esto se da la adopción de la resolución 777 de 2021, donde se especifica a la comunidad educativa el retorno a la presencialidad de forma progresiva. De acuerdo con lo anteriormente expuesto, cualquier persona puede infectarse por COVID-19, independientemente de su edad, pero más comúnmente afecta a los adultos de edad mediana (35 a 60 años) y mayores (más de 60 años), con posibilidad de tener mayor afectación entre personas con comorbilidades preexistentes (hipertensión, EPOC, obesidad, diabetes entre otras). Con el fin de prevenir el riesgo de contagio en población docente, se propone el análisis AMFE (Análisis de fallos y efectos), en el cual se realizó la identificación, medición, cuantificación y mitigación del riesgo de contagio por SARS-COV- 2 de la comunidad docente que conforma a la Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas y Ambientales - U.D.C.A. sede Bogotá.

To prevent the spread of the virus and mitigate its impact on both students and teachers, in addition to the family nucleus that surrounds them, the educational community has had to respond to a series of emerging demands of various kinds during the health crisis, to minimize its impact on students. With the implementation of the national vaccination plan, an attempt has been made to mitigate the level of contagion of the virus and with this, the adoption of resolution 777 of 2021, where the educational community is specified to return to the classroom in a progressive manner. According to the above, anyone can be infected by COVID-19, regardless of their age, but most commonly affects middle-aged adults (35 to 60 years) and older (over 60 years), with the possibility of having greater involvement among people with pre-existing comorbidities (hypertension, COPD, obesity, diabetes, among others). To prevent the risk of contagion in the teaching population, the FMEA (Failure and Effects Analysis) analysis was proposed, in which the identification, measurement, quantification and mitigation of the risk of contagion by SARS-COV-2 of the teaching community of the University of Applied and Environmental Sciences U.D.C.A. Bogotá headquarters was carried out.
