Flash floods are a hydrometeorological phenomenon that occurs in heavy rainy seasons in the country. Rainfall usually occurs bimodally in the Bogotá city, between the months of February to May and from September to December approximately. In the city of Bogotá, in the towns of San Cristóbal, Santa Fe and Candelaria there have been flash floods affecting families in the sector over the years. The first records of the events date from 1925 by local newspapers until 2013, therefore, it is necessary to generate information about the flash floods, since information about these events is scarce, therefore, this research aimed to find the susceptible areas in the upper and middle micro-basin of the Fucha River in Bogotá, using geographic information systems and quantitative and qualitative methods. The program that was used for the processing was ArcMap 10.5. The method used to find the percentages and the analysis of pairs with the variables is known as the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) and the tool to obtain the susceptibility map was the weighted overlap. When obtaining the susceptibility map, it was evidenced that there is a high susceptibility in the localities of San Cristóbal, Santa Fe and medium-high susceptibility in the town of Candelaria, where events have been recorded in the pasteng
