dc.description.abstractIntroducción: La actividad física es considerada actualmente como la primera y más eficaz estrategia para contrarrestar la aparición de enfermedades cardiovasculares de tipo crónico. Existen una serie de factores que limitan la práctica de la misma, derivados de los comportamientos de los adolescentes en edad escolar. Además, se evidencia una carencia en la cantidad de horas de actividad en clase de educación física y toda esta situación se agravó a partir de la pandemia por el Covid -19. Objetivo: El objetivo de la investigación se centró en caracterizar la actividad física de escolares en confinamiento enfocada a la educación física saludable en el municipio de Zipaquirá Cundinamarca. Materiales y Métodos: Fue un estudio de tipo descriptivo, con enfoque cuantitativo y diseño transversal realizado a través de la aplicación del cuestionario Young Activity Profile –Spain de manera auto administrada en 578 adolescentes entre los 12 y 17 años pertenecientes a la I.E.M. Técnico Industrial de Zipaquirá, en el periodo de confinamiento del año 2021, se contemplaron como variables primarias el nivel de actividad física moderado y vigoroso: durante jornada escolar, fuera de la jornada escolar, en tiempo libre, fin de semana y comportamiento sedentario, incluyendo variables secundarias edad, sexo, grado escolar. Resultados: Tiempo de clase virtual en promedio 137,02 ± 5,7 min, actividades fuera de la jornada escolar 17,5 min, actividad fines de semana 57,7 min y comportamientos sedentarios 96,7 min Conclusión: En el periodo de confinamiento disminuyó la práctica de Actividad Física (AF) regular reportándose con una tendencia de 45,46 min de actividad física moderada a vigorosa (MVPA) al día durante la jornada escolar y destacando un comportamiento sedentario donde prevalece el uso del celular en 133 min diariosspa
dc.description.abstractIntroduction: Physical activity is currently considered the first and most effective strategy to counteract the appearance of chronic cardiovascular diseases. There are a number of factors that limit the practice of it, derived from the behavior of adolescents of school age. In addition, there is evidence of a lack in the number of hours of activity in physical education class and this whole situation was aggravated by the Covid-19 pandemic. Objective: the objective of the research was focused on characterizing the physical activity of schoolchildren in confinement focused on healthy physical education in the municipality of Zipaquirá Cundinamarca. Materials and Methods: It was a descriptive study, with a quantitative approach and a cross-sectional design carried out through the application of the Young Activity Profile -Spain questionnaire in a self-administered way in 578 adolescents between 12 and 17 years old belonging to the I.E.M. Industrial Technician of Zipaquirá, in the confinement period of the year 2021, the level of moderate and vigorous physical activity was considered as primary variables: during the school day, outside the school day, in free time, weekend and sedentary behavior, including secondary variables age, sex, school grade. Results: virtual class time on average 137.02 ± 5.7 min, activities outside the school day 17.5 min, weekend activity 57.7 min and sedentary behavior 96.7 min Conclusion: During the confinement period, the practice of regular PA decreased, reporting a trend of 45.46 min of MVPA per day during the school day and highlighting a sedentary behavior where cell phone use prevails in 133 min per day.eng
