Valoración de la contribución de la mujer rural del trópico de altura en la seguridad alimentaria, a partir de la implementación de técnicas de producción de agricultura sostenible y de precisión

Abstract

El objetivo del presente estudio fue analizar la contribución de la mujer rural del trópico de altura a la seguridad alimentaria familiar y comunitaria. Se seleccionaron seis mujeres rurales de tres municipios diferentes, de las cuales, tres de ellas trabajaron en la implementación de un módulo agrícola con prácticas de agricultura sostenible y de precisión, y las otras tres trabajaron con sus huertas de agricultura familiar; se desarrollaron una serie de capacitaciones para el correcto uso e implementación de las prácticas de agricultura expuestas, para la recolección de información se implementaron unas encuestas, unas entrevistas, utilizando unas tablas de datos sobre las producciones obtenidas. A partir de los resultados encontrados y los análisis correspondientes, junto con la literatura investigada se observó que las participantes del trópico de altura aportan directamente a la seguridad alimentaria familiar del hogar y de la comunidad, así mismo se observó y se analizó que las mujeres rurales no reciben el reconocimiento por sus labores dentro y fuera del hogar.

The objective of the present study was to analyze the contribution of the rural women in the high tropic for the family and community food security. It was selected six rural women from three different municipalities of which three of them worked with the implementation of an agricultural module with sustainable and precision farming practices, the other three rural women worked with their family farm gardens. It was developed a series of trainings for the correct use in the implementation of the agricultural practices exposed before, for the recollection of information on the field it was implemented a survey, an interview, through the use of table regarding the systems productivity. From the results founded and the corresponding analysis, along with the literature search it was observed that the participant of the high tropic contributes directly to household and community food security, in that way it was observed and analyzed that the rural women did not receive the recognition for their labors in and outside of home.
