Colombia potencia en productos Fitoterapéuticos

Abstract

El uso de plantas y de preparados naturales con propósitos medicinales es una forma común de atender problemas de salud a nivel mundial, en esta monografía se dio a entender la capacidad que tiene Colombia con el uso y aprovechamiento de este tipo de recurso en la fabricación de productos fitoterapéuticos, donde se investigó en bases de datos de registros sanitarios y los requisitos a cumplir para obtener un registro sanitario en Colombia y con ello se evidencio la falta de aprovechamiento de las plantas autóctonas colombianas y la poca exportación de los mismos con apenas un 0,32% bajo la modalidad de fabricar y exportar, tomando esto como una oportunidad de mejora y dar a conocer la importancia de esto y junto con la biodiversidad Colombiana en una oportunidad de aprovechamiento e investigación de los mismos.

The use of plants and natural preparations for medicinal purposes is a common way of addressing health problems worldwide, this monograph hinted at the capacity that Colombia has with the use and exploitation of this type of resource in the manufacture of phytotherapeutic products, where it was investigated in databases of sanitary registries and the requirements to fulfill to obtain a sanitary registry in Colombia and with this, the lack of use of indigenous Colombian plants and the little export of them was evidenced with only 0,32% under the modality of manufacturing and exporting, taking this as an opportunity for improvement and publicizing the importance of this and together with the Colombian biodiversity in an opportunity to use and research them
