Diarrea neonatal en bovinos a causa de Eimeria Spp

Abstract

Cinco terneros de raza pardo suizo con brahman nacidos en la finca agropecuaria alfa ubicada en Ricaurte Cundinamarca presentaron Letargo, inapetencia y diarrea. Al realizar el examen clínico había deshidratación, fiebre, melena, hematoquecia, letargo. Se realizo necropsia a uno de los terneros que murió donde hubo Cambios autolíticos, colon con necrosis, observación de estructuras redondas con pared celular compatibles con estadios de Eimeria. De acuerdo con el diagnóstico se realizó el tratamiento pertinente que incluía fluidoterapia con ringer lactato, trimetoprim y sulfametoxazol intramuscular, estreptomicina sulfato oral, subsalicilato de bismuto, amprolio. Por ende, se concluye que según la anamnesis y las manifestaciones clínicas no se determinó como diagnóstico más probable coccidia por ende el tratamiento en algunos casos no tuvo resultados positivos.

It is concluded that According to anamnesis and some clinical manifestations it was not determined as the most probable diagnosis of coccidia, therefore the treatment in some cases that did not have positive results.
