Adenocarcinoma uterino en lagomorfo de 5 años con corrección quirurgica

Abstract

Un lagomorfo hembra, entera, raza común, 5 años de edad fue atendida en la clínica veterinaria VisionVet en la ciudad de Bogotá. Anamnesis: depresión, decaimiento e historia de orinar con sangre y mal carácter con los propietarios. Hallazgos Clínicos y de Laboratorio: Presencia de hipotermia, bradicardia, bradipnea y hematuria. Trombocitopenia, leucocitosis, hipoproteinemia, con aumento de BUN, Urea y Glucosa y una disminución en las enzimas ALT y FAL. Aproximación terapéutica: Se instauró un tratamiento una solución magistral de Ringer Lactato, Cloruro de sodio 0.9% y Plasvit, omeprazol y dexametasona vía intravenosa, metoclopramida, y ketoprofeno vía subcutánea, trimetropin sulfadoxina vía intramuscular, lactulax y vitamina c vía oral, se realizó OVH electiva e histopatología Conclusiones: Según la anamnesis , las pruebas diagnósticas como la ecografía se determinó como diagnostico una hiperplasia endometrial quística grado IV y neoplasia miometrial agresiva confirmando con histopatología un adenocarcinoma uterino que tuvo resolución quirúrgica y su estado no mejoro llevándola a la muerte

A common 5-year-old female lagomorph was treated at the VisionVet veterinary clinic in the city of Bogotá with evidence of depression and a history of urinating with blood and a change in behavior with the owners. During the clinical examination the rabbit showed a decrease in rectal temperature, bradycardia, bradypnea and hematuria. In the laboratory examination showed a thrombocytopenia with leukocytosis, decrease in proteins, a slight increase in the level of urea nitrogen in blood, urea and glucose and a decrease in the level of alanine transaminase and alkaline phosphatase. Uterine adenocarcinoma was established as a more likely diagnosis based on clinical signs and paraclinical tests performed. Treatment in this case was a masterful solution of Ringer Lactate, Sodium chloride 0.9% and Plasvit, omeprazole, dexamethasone metoclopramide, ketoprofen, trimetropin sulfadoxine, lactulax and vitamin, elective OVH and histopathology were performed. Her condition worsened with the days leading her to death
