Relación entre el clima y el crecimiento urbano dela ciudad de Bogotá para el periodo 1901 -2020

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación consiste en estudio de la relación entre el clima y el crecimiento urbano de la ciudad de Bogotá para el periodo 1901 – 2020; esto, con el objetivo de establecer alguna relación entre el crecimiento urbano y el clima de la ciudad, mediante dos análisis multitemporales: el primero asociado al crecimiento de la ciudad por medio de la comparación de áreas urbanas en periodos decadales a través de planos e imágenes satelitales y el segundo relacionado con el comportamiento de dos elementos determinantes: la precipitación y la temperatura; lo anterior, por medio de la geoestadística que permite identificar la dependencia espacial de los datos, para de esta manera poder comparar y contrastar la dinámica del crecimiento urbano y la variación en los dos elementos del clima y determinar las localidades que han presentado mayor variación. Se encontraron indicios de una posible relación entre el clima y el crecimiento urbano; la temperatura aumento 0,5 °C por década a medida que aumentaba el área construida de Bogotá, siendo esta la zona donde se registran mayores temperaturas, y en el caso de la precipitación, la zona donde se presentan menores precipitaciones es donde se encuentra el área urbanizada.

The present research paper consists of a study of the relationship between the climate and urban growth of the city of Bogotá for the period 1901 - 2020; this, with the aim of establishing some relationship between urban growth and the climate of the city, by means of two multitemporal analyses: the first associated to the growth of the city by means of the comparison of urban areas in decadal periods through planes and satellite images and the second related to the behavior of two determining elements: precipitation and temperature; the above, by means of geostatistics that allows to identify the spatial dependence of the data, in order to be able to compare and contrast the dynamics of urban growth and the variation in the two elements of the climate and determine the localities that have shown the greatest variation. We found indications of a possible relationship between climate and urban growth; temperature increased 0.5°C per decade as the built area of Bogotá increased, this being the area where the highest temperatures are recorded, and in the case of precipitation, The area with the lowest rainfall is where the urbanized area is located.
