Imaginarios socioculturales y conocimientos de mujeres universitarias acerca de los derechos sexuales y reproductivos mujeres estudiantes universitarias de la UDCA vinculadas el segundo semestre de 2018

Abstract

Objetivo: Se realizó un estudio para Identificar los imaginarios, las representaciones sociales y los conocimientos sobre los derechos sexuales y reproductivos en las estudiantes universitarias de la UDCA que ingresarán en el periodo ll del 2018. Metodología: El diseño fue descriptivo y analítico. Se aplicaron técnicas cualitativas consistentes en 1 grupo focal integrado por 10 Jóvenes, segmentados por edad y Facultad de la universidad UDCA; se aplicó la técnica cuantitativa encuesta con un contenido de 43 preguntas divididas en 4 secciones aplicadas a 145 mujeres pertenecientes al II periodo del 2018 de la universidad UDCA sede 222. Resultados: Se encontró que la población encuestada se encuentra en una media de 18 años que corresponde al 45,52% de la muestra total, además, se observa que gran parte de las entrevistadas, aunque el 97,24% afirman haber recibido información sobre sexualidad, existe un conocimiento ambiguo y no claro de que este término se comprende. Por último, se observó que el 85% de las estudiantes tienen un claro desconocimiento sobre los DSDR. Conclusiones: Se logra evidenciar que la población reconoce los DSDR, mas no los identifica y no hay apropiación de estos. En cuanto a los imaginarios que tienen las estudiantes, más de la mitad de la población que realizó la encuesta afirman que no están de acuerdo con diferentes tabúes establecidos por el contexto sociocultural. Para concluir que la ejecución de una estrategia de educación en salud sexual y reproductiva integral enfocada hacia el apoderamiento de las adolescentes frente a sus derechos sexuales y reproductivos puede modificar positivamente las intenciones, actitudes, y percepciones ante la sexualidad.

To conclude that the execution of a comprehensive sexual and reproductive health education strategy focused on the empowerment of adolescents against their sexual and reproductive rights can positively modify the intentions, attitudes and perceptions of sexuality.
