Relación entre la dinámica pluvial del río amazonas y la formación de barras en el corregimiento de santa sofía (Amazonía colombiana) donde anida la tortuga charapa (podocnemis EXPANSA)

Abstract

The present research work consists of the analysis and description of the changes in the pluvial dynamics in the Amazon River, in the district of Santa Sofía (Colombian Amazon), in the period 1981-2020; This, in order to analyze the relationship between the rainfall dynamics of the Amazon River and the formation of bars in the village of Santa Sofía where the charapa turtle (Podocnemis expansa) nests. By conducting two multitemporal analyzes: the first directed towards the behavior of precipitation in the Amazon River basin and the second directed towards the behavior of the bars located in the study area, in order to contrast the dynamics of the bars and the dynamics of the rain that affects the village of Santa Sofía. Determining the sectors with the greatest and least affect based on the pluvial dynamics, which can be seen expressed in the disappearance or creation of bars; being understood, that the bars are a unit of land that are formed on a body of water, and it is related to the modification of the nesting sites of the charapa turtle, thus causing the increase in the probability of disappearance of the species in the village of Santa Sofía. A greater variation was identified in the conditions of the bars in one sector in contrast to the other sectors located in the study area.

El presente trabajo de investigación consiste en el análisis y descripción de los cambios en la dinámica pluvial en el río Amazonas, en el corregimiento de Santa Sofía (Amazonía Colombiana), en el periodo 1981-2020; esto, con el objetivo de analizar la relación entre la dinámica pluvial del río Amazonas y la formación de barras en el corregimiento de Santa Sofía donde anida la tortuga charapa (Podocnemis expansa). Mediante la realización de dos análisis multitemporales: el primero encaminado hacia el comportamiento de la precipitación en la cuenca del río Amazonas y el segundo dirigido hacia el comportamiento de las barras ubicadas en la zona de estudio, para de esta manera poder contrastar la dinámica de las barras y la dinámica de la lluvia que incide en el corregimiento de Santa Sofía. Determinando los sectores con mayor y menor afectación a partir de la dinámica pluvial, la cual puede verse expresada en la desaparición o creación de barras; entendiéndose, que las barras son una unidad de tierra que se forman sobre un cuerpo de agua, y se relaciona con la modificación de los sitios de anidación de la tortuga charapa provocando de esta forma el aumento en la probabilidad de desaparición de la especie en el corregimiento de Santa Sofía. Se identifico mayor variación en las condiciones de las barras en un sector en contraste a los demás sectores localizados en la zona de estudio.
