Campylobacter jejuni: Un patogéno de importancia en Salúd Publica asociado al Síndrome de Guillain Barré

Abstract

Campylobacter jejuni es the leading cause of enteritis zoonoses in humans by eating cantaminated meat mainly of birds, most severely affecting children. Because of its importance in public health is the condition most prevalence studies has generated worldwide by the cases and the relationship between the presence of this pathogen and the Guillain-Barré syndrome.

El Campylobacter jejuni se constituye en la principal zoonosis causante de enteritis en humanos por el consumo de carne contaminada principalmente de aves, afectando con mayor severidad a los niños. Debido a su importancia en salud pública es la enfermedad que más estudios de prevalencia ha generado a nivel mundial por la casuística y la relación existente entre la presencia de este patógeno y el Síndrome de Guillain-Barré.
