Revisión bibliográfica del linfoma canino

Abstract

This study was made with the purpose of informing veterinarians and students of veterinary medicine on the most recent updates of canine lymphoma, this research includes related topics to epidemiology, etiology, risk factors; another topics that the readers could find in this investigation are related too anatomical, morphological, histopathological and immunohistochemical classification; the author investigated the different methods that are available at veterinary medicine to make a diagnosis of this disease such as physical examination, hematology, imaging techniques, laboratory tests and molecular diagnosis; in addition to this, the most used therapeutic plans for patients are shown in this investigation, the most current treatments like the immunotherapy in veterinary medicine; this compilation has the purpose of showing the importance of new diagnostic aids in our country and in this way to make known a more accurate prognosis and then choose the most appropriate therapeutic plan for each patient offering a better quality of life to individuals suffering of CANINE LYMPHOMA.

Se realizó este estudio con el fin de aportar información a médicos veterinarios y estudiantes de medicina veterinaria sobre las actualizaciones más recientes de linfoma canino, en esta investigación se incluyen temas como epidemiología, etiología, factores de riesgo; a su vez trata temas como clasificación anatómica, morfológica, histopatológica e inmunohistoquímica; se investigaron los diferentes métodos que se tienen a la mano en medicina veterinaria para realizar el diagnóstico de esta enfermedad como el examen físico, hematológico, técnicas de imagenología, pruebas de laboratorio y diagnóstico molecular; adicional a esto se muestran los planes terapéuticos más utilizados en los pacientes, los tratamientos más actuales como la inmunoterapia en medicina veterinaria; esta recopilación tiene la finalidad de mostrar la importancia de nuevas ayudas diagnósticas en nuestro país y de esta manera dar a conocer un pronóstico más acertado y así elegir el plan terapéutico más adecuado para cada paciente ofreciendo una mejor calidad de vida a los individuos que padecen de LINFOMA CANINO.
