Linfoma canino en pitbull de 10 meses de edad reporte de caso

Abstract

Paciente canino de aproximadamente 10 meses de edad, raza pitbull, de procedencia desconocida es llevado a la clínica a través del convenio con el Instituto Distrital de Protección y Bienestar Animal (IDPYBA), por presentar hiperqueratosis en cabeza, miembros y abdomen ventral, alopecia generalizada, liquenificación, laxitud de piel del cuello ventral, secreción ótica bilateral ceruminosa, secreción ocular bilateral purulenta, en el momento de recibir el paciente se tomó raspado de piel y muestras de sangre para realizar cuadro hemático, medición de ALT, creatinina, microhematocrito y proteínas plasmáticas. En el raspado de piel se evidenciaron ácaros del género Sarcoptes y en el cuadro hemático se evidenció un proceso anémico, además de, trombocitopenia, leucocitosis, linfocitosis, neutrofilia y células inmaduras de orden mieloblástico. De acuerdo a los resultados de laboratorio se sugirieron diagnósticos diferenciales de linfoma o desordenes mieloproliferativos como la leucemia granulocítica o linfoblástica.

Skin scrapings showed mites of the genus Sarcoptes and in the blood picture an anemic process was evidenced, in addition to thrombocytopenia, leukocytosis, lymphocytosis, neutrophilia and immature cells of myeloblastic order. According to laboratory results, differential diagnoses of lymphoma or myeloproliferative disorders such as granulocytic or lymphoblastic leukemia were suggested.
