Abstract

Currently Colombia does not have a record to determine the incidence of chemical burns for aggression, it is for this reason that the present study is characterized quantitatively this incidence in the USS Simón Bolivar, It is in this institution where specialized management is found in complex cases of interest in burns; These data obtained between the periods from 2014 to 2018. . This research is of an observational, descriptive and retrospective type; Which will be carried out with data obtained from medical histories of the USS Simón Bolívar

Quemadura se define como una lesión caracterizada por daño a la piel y/o a tejidos subyacentes, que se pueden deber a un mecanismo físico o químico, ese mecanismo puede ser térmico, radioactivo, eléctrico, entre otros. Actualmente Colombia no cuenta con un registro que permita determinar la incidencia de quemaduras químicas por agresión, es por esta Razón que con el presente estudio se caracteriza de forma cuantitativa dicha incidencia en la Unidad de Servicios de Salud (USS) Simón Bolívar, pues es en ésta institución donde se encuentra el manejo especializado a casos complejos y de interés en quemaduras; éstos datos obtenidos entre los periodos de 2014 a 2018. . Ésta investigación es de tipo observacional, descriptivo y retrospectivo; la cual se llevará a cabo con datos obtenidos a partir de historias clínicas de la USS Simón Bolívar.
