Estudio de consumo y reacciones adversas a Tamoxifeno en Colombia en el periodo 2010-2015

Abstract

El presente artículo es un descriptivo de los reportes de eventos adversos asociados al uso de tamoxifeno, reportados al Programa Nacional de Farmacovigilancia-INVIMA en los años 2010 al 2015, se hace la aclaración que para el año 2010 no se registraron reportes al INVIMA. Del documento generado se pudo evidenciar en primer lugar que hubo un escaso número de reportes para un total 10 notificaciones, de las cuales el 100 % corresponden al sexo femenino, y se presentaron únicamente en las ciudades de Bogotá y Medellín, principalmente en Medellín (70%). También se desarrolló un estudio cuantitativo de consumo del tamoxifeno empleando la fórmula de DHD tomando la información alojada en la base de datos de SISPRO (Sistema Integral de información de la protección social). Los costos unitarios se tomaron del Termómetro de Precios de Medicamentos del Ministerio de Salud, tomando el precio mínimo y máximo de tamoxifeno para el canal institucional.

The present work is a descriptive of the adverse events report associated with the use of tamoxifen, reported to the National Pharmacovigilance Program-INVIMA in the years 2010 to 2015, it is clarified that for the year 2010 no reports were registered to INVIMA. From the document generated, it was first evident that there were a small number of reports for a total of 10 notifications, of which 100% corresponded to the female sex, and were presented only in the cities of Bogotá and Medellín, mainly in Medellín (70 %). A quantitative study of tamoxifen consumption was also developed using the DHD formula, taking the information stored in the SISPRO database (Comprehensive Social Protection Information System). The costs were calculated based on the Medicine Price Thermometer of the Ministry of Health, taking the minimum and maximum price of tamoxifen for the institutional channel.
