The research aimed to determine the correlation between power and resistance at speed in the players category sub - 17 of the professional football team Patriots Boyaca.f.c, which used a methodology with a focus empirical analytical descriptive correlational design, the study sample was constituted by 18 players with average age of 16.40 years, average weight of 68 kg and average size of 1.72 meters, which applied the test of Bosco jumps thread (ABK) Counter movement Jump (CMJ) and Squat Jump (SJ) being evaluated with the platform contact Axon Jump 4.0 and the test Repeat Sprint Ability (RSA), in order to analyze the study variables. The statistical analysis of the data was used for the statistical package SPSS v.22.0 (IBM Company Chicago), yielding results in the show that correlation there is no between indicators of the RSA and ABK and SJ, jumps while the anti movement CMJ presents correlation with the fatigue rate power and best sprint (P = 0, 03) (P = 0, 02) (P = 0, 05) respectively. Introduction: The power of the lower train in athletics is of paramount importance because it combines factors of strength and speed (Herzog & Ait-Haddou, 2002). Determinant capabilities in high sports performance; For this modality it is necessary to focus strength exercises executed at a high speed based on the phases of the stretch-shortening cycle (López, G., Herrero, A., & Fernández, 2003). Course Objective: Describe the effect of a plyometric training program on the power of the lower train in athletes. Methodology:The research was conducted in the city of Paipa, Boyacá with a sample of 16 high-performance athletes preselected to national games, which were divided intentionally, forming the group control and experimental. The power measurement was carried out using the Bosco protocol using the Abalakov (ABK), Countermove (CMJ) and Squat Jump (SJ) jumps using the Axon Jump 4.0 contact platform, the intervention was carried out for 8 weeks, with a 3-day frequency of weekly workouts. Results: It can be noted that the training plan generated a positive effect on athletes as the analyzes show that there are changes in the jumps and the height reached after the intervention of each of the groups. Conclusion: This study indicate that 8 weeks of plyometric training are sufficient to stimulate potency in lower limbs in elite athletes.

The objective of this research was to determine the correlation that exists between the power and resistance to speed in soccer players of the Sub-20 category of the professional team Patriotas Boyacá. Using an analytical empirical approach and a non-experimental correlational descriptive design, with a sample of 18 players aged 18.61 ± 0.9 years, weight 70.55 ± 6.6 Kg, height 178.5 ± 8.7 Cm and a BMI of 22.13 ± 0.1%. The Bosco test was applied to them in the Abalakov (ABK), Counter Mouvement Jump (CMJ) and Squat Jump (SJ) and the Sprint Repeat Ability (RSA) tests, in order to analyze the study variables. For the statistical analysis SPSS v.22.0 (IBM Company Chicago) was used, performing the Pearson correlation coefficient (r) parametric data and an Alpha greater than or equal to 0.05.From the results obtained from the Bosco test in height, data was found in SJ 38.4 ± 3.35 cm; in ABK 45.4 ± 4.03 cm, and,for CMJ 38.5 ± 4.82 cm. On the other hand, the results for the RSA test indicate that the fatigue index of athletes obtained an average of 7.514 ± 4.08%. The data showed results in the demonstration that there is no correlation between the ABK takeoff and the RSA power (p=0,015); while the takeoff of the SJ and CMJ jumps if they are related to the power of the RSA test (p = 0.056) (p = 0.688) respectively. Additionally, it is concluded that there is a relationship between the fatigue index, the best sprint in the RSA test and the power of the RSA test (p = 0.026).
