Rivera Marroquin, Michael Esteban | 2018
The Torca basin is one of the most important natural areas for the city of Bogotá because it has elements with significant environmental values for the ecosystem and ecological maintenance of the Capital. The importance of this area is manifested through the landscape units worked on in this research, which belong to the Main Ecological Structure of the city, being fundamental pillars for territorial planning and occupation strategy.
On the other hand, climatic variability is a global phenomenon of natural character, which is manifested through the fluctuation of the normal climatic parameters in different temporalities, affecting the behavior of variables such as precipitation and temperature that in turn generate changes in the landscapes.
The landscape analysis is a very useful tool for the evaluation of the processes of transformation and dependence that occur in the landscape, allowing to obtain valuable information regarding its integral functioning. In this way, a methodology of systemic analysis of environmental components is applied, which in synergy with the evaluation of landscape modeling and an analysis of vulnerability against the climatic scenario 2011 - 2040, allows identifying the possible influence that climate variation will have. on the systemic functioning of the Torca basin.
