Efectos de la educación ambiental acerca del cambio climático en una Escuela Rural
Benítez Rodríguez, Uriel | 2019
Everyday steps are taken to address climate change in the world, however, none of this would have been possible without first educating the children about this serious problem. We have a responsibility to care for and preserve our natural resources, eco-efficiency is the way that we can do that. In the present work, a series of educational tools were applied in the José Gregorio Salas IERD, where qualitative data were obtained and analyzed through a general matrix of learning. This allows for the evaluation of the community's attitude towards the environment and climate change, making use of field diaries, forums, murals and training for teachers. It was possible to include the environmental dimension in the educational project institute (PEI), the environmental project (PRAE), and the curriculum of the educational institution. Incorporating these topics in the natural science classes and realizing the impacts of climatic change to the areas of society, mathematics, and language, which, was accompanied by the participation and work of the teaching teams.
With the results obtained in the pre-test and post-test, there was a significant change in the attitudes of the educational community towards the environment and a greater understanding of the processes of climate change.
