The treatment of venous ulcers (UV) implies comprehensive patient care, an informed choice of treatment that accelerates healing due to its frequency of use and cost reduction, there are treatment alternatives in the market taking into account the size of the wound and the age of the patient. Objective: To determine the cost-effectiveness of the different treatments for venous ulcer care. Methodology: The work was structured in 3 phases: Phase 1: search for information in databases (Science direct, Pubmed, Scielo and Clinical Key), phase 2: classification of information in an Excel matrix, phase 3: analysis and information discussion. Inclusion criteria (articles published between the years 2015-2020, in English, Spanish and Portuguese and treatment of veins or venous ulcers). Results: Taking into account that there are several treatment alternatives on the market (sclerotherapy, radiofrequency, wet environment therapy, endovenous laser, surgery, among others). The cost-effectiveness of treatment of the product may vary. Conclusion: Currently the treatment offered of choice for UV due to its effectiveness, low cost, less recurrence rate and few complications in use, are dressings due to its low cost that ranges between USD $ 12 and USD $ 275 dollars, facilitating its use. the home patient.
