The family is the primary social group where an individual develops, it is there where the psychological formation, the personality, cultural bases of interaction with the environment are created and bonds of coexistence, consanguinity and affective are formed conditioned by sociocultural values. This institution requires spaces for dialogue, communication, conflict resolution, and mutual respect, among other characteristics that ensure its functionality, on the other hand, abandonment situations, leaving the home abroad or other parts of the country, premature death of a member of the family, appearance of psychiatric disorders, addictions, disability, among others, are factors that can lead the family to dysfunction and disintegration. Precisely many of these factors are conditions to which soldiers belonging to the Military Forces of our country are habitually exposed.
