Pachón de Plata, Gladys | 2020
The present work was carried out with the purpose of beginning to generate behavioral changes in the way of interacting with classmates and with the environment that surrounds them in children of the first teaching cycle, with ages ranging from 6 to 9 years. Considering that in the first years of life, relationships are based on affection, a Didactic Learning Sequence is designed and implemented: “Arthropods and me”. In which different activities were worked on, such as visits to environmental classrooms, role play; to facilitate the approach to arthropods from empathy, and to the environment in preserved spaces. To monitor the change in attitudes in the performance of the activities, field diaries were kept, by observing the attitudes taking into account the three dimensions of the attitude: Cognitive, affective and behavioral. In the results of the experience there were changes in some children of their behavior towards peers and towards arthropods, manifesting attitudes of protection and care when they were found. Likewise, the parents expressed the change they had observed in the children and the desire to continue visiting the wetland near their home. As there is also a greater interest in observing, knowing and researching the surrounding environment. Respecting the environment, people and everything around him.
