Respuesta de la papa criolla (Solanum Phureja) a diferentes aplicaciones de fertilización orgánico mineral en Bogotá, Cundinamarca

Fertilization is intended to supplement the plant with nutritional requirements not met by the soil in its natural fertility condition. On the other hand the contributions of organic matter in the soil, generate many benefits for the assimilation of soil nutrients, help improve soil structure and provide beneficial microorganisms, among many more benefits. The Creole potato is produced in different regions of Colombia, mainly in the inter-Andean valleys. Its quality depends on the microclimate, altitude, solar radiation and humidity during the production cycle. Potato growing is an important source of employment and income, either as a commercial product or as part of food security programs in marginal rural areas. It can be consumed fresh or in processed form, as animal feed or as raw material for industrial purposes. The experiment was carried out under conditions of the Bogota savannah at the University of Applied and Environmental Sciences, where the effects of mineral and organic fertilization were evaluated in different doses in the interaction on the growth and vegetative and productive development of the Solanum potato phureja. The treatments were divided in four: conventional (Witness, cultural practice used by conventional farmers), mineral (performing soil analysis, supplying missing nutrients), organic-mineral (mineral fertilization with organic matter in three concentrations: 1-4 and 6 tons per hectare) and finally organic (in three concentrations: 1 - 4 and 6 tons per hectare), these treatments were taken to a completely random design. The treatments with only application of organic matter did not show a good development since they did not have the nutritional requirements ideal for a good growth and development. The treatments with nutritional mineral contribution behaved in a very similar and optimal way, since it was remarkable its growth and development getting to have buna productions. The applications of organic matter bring us great benefits by contributing directly to the soil as they improve the soil structure.
