At a global level, the rains have an impact on the health of the population, producing an increase in the appearance of flood phenomena and increasing the frequency of pathologies associated with this phenomenon, the Suba locality located north of the city of Bogotá presents more risk Due to the fact that it has the basins of the river Salitre and the river Torca, this geographical distribution, associated with the lack of adequate infrastructure and the high occupancy rate in its surroundings by houses along the channels, place the town at high risk of flooding either by overflowing rivers or by faults in sewer infrastructure. Due to this, a descriptive, retrospective, population-based ecological study was carried out, thus determining the behavior of the pathologies previously mentioned during 2014, comparing them with the frequency of appearance of these same pathologies in the years 2013 and 2015, in order to establish whether living in a place affected by the flood phenomenon generates an impact on the health of the population. The data was collected from the SISPRO database, by means of filters such as age, place of care, latency period, chronology and type of pathologies. It was observed that, although in the rainy periods of these years the frequency in the consultation of the Suba Hospital of the selected pathologies increases considerably, not all reach to exceed the cases reported in the flood period of 2014, many of them increased in Frequency of consultation for this year, because they are pathologies where poor hygiene and health conditions caused by flood phenomena are a determining factor for the development of these
