The landscape has characteristics that differentiate it from other territorial or environmental variables. However, it has acquired a
consideration as environmental, territorial, cultural and economic resource. In this research analyzes transformation in the department
of Meta spatial and multitemporal way from identifying distinctive features of social, economic, and geospheric biospheric component.
Besides the influential territorial dynamics are characterized in the study area because it seeks to recognize patterns of change but also
to understand the causes that generate them considering that it is a region that has lived day after day the Colombian armed conflict.
Based on the above, a number of design elements that allow base map, thematic and prospective in a scenario of post-agreement
follow. The cultural landscape is also evaluated as it is an individual and collective social construction. This visual analysis allows to
know aspects highly valued by the population and those that are unique or worthy of special attention.
Finally, a critical analysis is performed against the positive and negative situations that have brought the armed conflict to transform
the landscape, considering that is a key variable for setting goals, principles, strategies and guidelines in a possible scenario "Peace".
For in this context it becomes relevant conservation and preservation of strategic territory in any scale natural areas. This contributes to
the implementation of uses, economic activities and investments by multinational have restrictions or occur without degrading
environmental, landscape and cultural values (identity preservation) in the region.
