In the present article the cases of anaphylactic reactions for administration of medications reported in the city of Bogotá DC, supplied by the district pharmacovigilance program, are reported, 173 cases were reported between the years 2009-2018, of which two cases had as alteration general death. In conclusion, women presented more reports of anaphylactic reactions due to the use of drug compared to men, the ages with the most reports being pediatric patients under 4 years (10%), followed by reports of ages between 35-39 years (8%) and finally the group with the highest number of reports were patients aged 60-64 years (15%). It was evidenced that the pharmacological groups that most report of anaphylactic reactions are the analgesics followed by the betalactamic antibiotics.
METHODS: A descriptive, retrospective study of cases reported in the District Pharmacovigilance Program of the District Secretary of Health of the city of Bogotá.
RESULTS: In accordance with the cases of anaphylaxis reported by the District Pharmacovigilance Program, in the period between 2009 and 2018 in the city of Bogotá, the relevant data for this study were analyzed, with a total of 173 reports that , according to the inclusion criteria, they allowed us to evaluate different variables to identify the causes that generate anaphylaxis from the use of medications in the population, often we find the inconvenience that these reports are made by different people, each one provides a description typical of the same event they study, for this reason the descriptions were unified so that they are categorized in the same way and thus perform a correct analysis of the reports, in our study 541 Whoart descriptors were categorized in which it stood out with a total of 233 cases (43.1%) general alterations and subclassification the anaphylactic shock reports No 68 cases equivalent to 13%.
CONCLUSIONS: The characterization and analysis of the reported cases of anaphylaxis by medication use in the district Pharmacovigilance program of Bogotá D.C. 2009-2018 it can be concluded that the female sex reported a greater number of cases.
