Hemangiosarcoma (HSA) also known as malignant hemangioendothelioma or angiosarcoma, is a malignant neoplasm that originates from the vascular endothelium. The most affected species is the dog, it represents 5% of primary tumors of non-cutaneous origin and 12-21% of mesequimal neoplasms. There is little literature on SAH arising from subcutaneous or intramuscular tissues, as well as its clinical signs and biological behavior. Its diagnosis is used through histopathology and the treatment of choice is surgery combined with chemother-apy.
This article reports the case of a Beagle canine patient, an 8-year-old male, who entered the A UDCA veteri-nary clinic due to the presentation of a dorsal mass to the evolution trachea with more than 2 months; the signs he presented in the patient: sialorrhea, anorexia, severe ventricular pain and dorsoflexion of the neck; Complementary examinations were carried out: Blood table, Alanine aminotransferase (ALT), Creatinin and cytology and later histopathology, obtaining as a result high-grade dermal hemangiosarcoma.
